The Cross

The Cross is the straight punch from the rear.

  1. Pivot of the back foot is key.
  2. It all starts from your rear foot
  3. Push off back foot 3. Rotate from your hips
  4. Twist your back foot forward like your throwing something through a wall
  5. Extend that rear arm
  6. Shoulder up protecting the chin (so you don’t get KO’d yourself)
  7. Rotate your thumb down creating a snap at the end of that cross
  8. Pull punch back to a high guard.
